The 2016 Holiday Season was officially kicked off with our 37th “Tamalada” celebration. This special yearly event was hosted by Sierra Title of Hidalgo County, Inc. The Tamalada celebration was held on Wednesday, November 9th. Approximately 1,100 guests from various cities throughout Hidalgo County attended the event enjoying the companionship of attendees, the food, and the mild South Texas weather. Employees of Sierra Title of Hidalgo County, Inc. were dressed in traditional Border costumes. The staff also set up the enormous white tent with brightly colored decorations including large hanging piñata’s, table decorations of vases filled with crepe-paper flowers and statues of folklorico dancers that were made of tamale husks. Additionally, employees set up numerous tables and chairs for our guests to comfortably eat their tamales while visiting with friends. The staff furthermore served the food to the attendees. This event gives management and our employees a chance to visit with our valued realtors, bankers and mortgage company personnel and City and County officials and their staff in order to show our appreciation for their continued support.
